“ Our server was outstanding! We were invited out by a special client and had a nice dinner, and for the price point a good value and good food. At the end of the meal I had planned to steal the bill and cover it, BUT... My client had already talked to the lovely server and she dealt with it in a way that made the experience that much better. She brought me the bill which was a handwritten note instead, saying "Too late :) Enjoy the gift from your friend :)" Both smiling as I read it. I did enjoy everything and appreciate my new friend, and mostly for having a place like the boathouse so close by. ”

My only slightly negative comment would be the portion sizes... Sure, lots of fries, and fillers, but the principal food amount was a little light... Perhaps it was just a one off though... Otherwise, a very enjoyable experience! ”

The fish platters were amazing ... had perch fish which is locally caught from lake erie made to perfection, super light and not oily at all with fresh cut fries and baked potato. “ Stopped by for lunch on our way to Long Point. Beautiful location, almost right by the water and Port Rowen Marina. It was little intimidating when we walked in to see restaurant full of bikers. They have a very casual patio overlooking Marina and regional highway. Our fried fish (2 large pieces of panko crusted fish with coleslaw, tartar sauce & side of Tomato Soup - 13.99) was delicious. Fish was fresh, large enough for 2 people, so we couldn't even touch our Spicy Chicken wrap. We ended up taking home. Our server was friendly. Nice place to sit, relax, have a beer, good meal and meet lots of friendly Bikers. Prices are very reasonable. After the meal nice walk by Marina is recommended. If you are anywhere near Port Rowen, you should check this place out. ”

“ Just did a call in to order poutine. Quick bite to sit watch water, before Twins ice cream. Fries are delicious, they have some great tasting coating on them. The gravy is good, but the only thing I have to b***h about is that it's curds and shredded cheese. Poutine is suppose to be curds and curds only. Lol But all an all they were good. Totally worth stopping in on good day,walking to waters edge, sit watch birds, boats or just the water. ”
